【ALIVE ART! RENAISSANCE】 The content uses digital art technology to display more than 200 masterpieces by 24 masters of the Renaissance, with the beauty of sound and light.

Co-organized by a Taiwan x Italy x American multinational team, it uses technologies such as full-scale simulation, AR introduction, 540° surround field, dome arc projection and stereo surround sound to present and re-interpret 36 museums, art galleries and private collections around the world in multiple ways. The representative paintings of the Renaissance masters,and The huge mural “Doomsday” on the dome of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, a “world cultural heritage”, provides the audience with the ultimate immersive experience to pursue the truth, goodness and beauty of life.

More than 600 years ago, the Black Death took 75 million lives and gave birth to a great human change—the Renaissance. Now history seems to be repeating itself. The COVID-19 new crown pneumonia has changed human life. Also back to Renaissance Europe.

Paintings on display include Leonardo da Vinci’s “Last Supper” and “The Mona Lisa,” and Raffaello Santi’s “The School of Athens” and  “The Three Graces”, “The Creation of Adam” and “The Last Judgment” by Michelangelo, “The Birth of Venus”  and “Primavera” by Sandro Botticelli , Caravaggio’s “Medusa” and “Bacchus” by Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, etc.

This time, the fresco “The Last Judgment” of the Dome-Cupola of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore was also “moved” from Florence, Italy to Taiwan; It is also the first time for the Taiwan special exhibition to use dome projection technology, allowing the audience to appreciate the magnificence of the red brick dome of the Cathedral of Hundred Flowers and the frescoes up close in the 9-meter-high inflatable dome. The composition of “The Last Judgment” is cumbersome and detailed, and you can experience an unprecedented visual experience.

The Renaissance originated in Italy and brought the dawn of human civilization, and its influence has spread across the fields of art, architecture, literature, economy, religion, etc. This exhibition fully demonstrates that beauty can stimulate imagination and lead ideas, especially in the current epidemic situation, can appreciate to the essence of  Renaissance art.
